“Gypsy” is suggested by the memoirs of Gypsy Rose Lee and focuses on the beginning of her career, her mother, Momma Rose and her sister June, who later became the very popular movie star June Havoc. The story takes place in the 1920’s and 1930’s when Vaudeville was in decline. The show is tastefully written and has roles for children, teenagers and their parents, making it a family oriented show with all of the dynamics of rearing children through the teenage years.
