A Young Audiences Production of the Prince Street Players' Sleeping Beauty Book & Lyrics by Jim Eiler Music by Jeanne Bargy & Jim Eiler “Sleeping Beauty” Musical Opens in Vallejo in December Vallejo Music Theatre will present Jim Eiler’s Prince Street Players “Sleeping Beauty,” at the Fetterly Playhouse for the Arts, 3467 Sonoma Boulevard, Suite 10, Vallejo. The theater is located in the back of the Vallejo Plaza Shopping Center, corner of Redwood & Sonoma Boulevard, Vallejo. Six evening performances with curtain at 7:00 PM are set for December 7, 8, 9, 14, 15, 16. Two matinee performances are set with curtain at 2:00 PM December 10 and 17. The show includes many children from Lincoln Elementary School, Vallejo High School, Jesse Bethel High School, Hogan High School and Mare Island Technical Academy. Cast for the popular fairytale includes Rebecca Crebbin-Coates, of Lafayette as Melisande, the Princess over whom a 100 year spell is cast by the wicked fairy Trollarina, played in drag by Rudy Brown of Vallejo. The Faun-Prince is played by Travis Orth, of Vallejo. The three good fairies are being played by Julianna Kohley, Vacaville, as Minerva, Laura Martin-Chapin, Pinole, as Sybil, and Sarah Rozett, Benicia, as Phoebe. Other roles are being played by Sheila Atwater, Vallejo, as the Queen, Gary Foley, Benicia, as the King and Laura-Jo Davis, of Concord as the Herald. Merry Fairies are Maggie Sampson, Vallejo, as Venus, and Meghan Crebbin-Coates, Lafayette, as Diana. Ladies of the Court include Julie-Ana Davis, Benicia, Adrienne and Alexandra Hernaez, Vallejo, and Leann Marie Kennedy, American Canyon. The Troll Patrol, Trollarina’s body guards are Robin Murray, Berkeley, as Lady Fierce, Sherón Fitzgerald, Vallejo, as Lady Slam-dunk, Sabrina Fernandez, Vallejo, as Lady Hemlock, Emerald McDonnell, Vallejo, as Lady Belladonna, and Chloe Josselson, Vallejo, as Lady Nightshade. Faunimals, furry little woodland creatures who befriend the Faun include Lincoln Elementary students Brijeanae Foster, Jennifer Gonzalez, Jacqueline Molinero, Selena Pearson, Breana Peladeau, and Susana Rosillo.
