The cast has many actors double-cast to give more children an opportunity to work in a large musical and gain the experience and discipline they need for future careers in the performing arts.

Actors include Barbara Pond of San Francisco as Maria; John Crebbin-Coates of Lafayette as Captain von Trapp; Laura Martin-Chapin, Pinole, as the Mother Abbess; Rebecca Crebbin-Coates of Lafayette and Janelle Bartholomew of Benicia share the role of Liesl; Kiernan Morgan of Vallejo as Friedrich; Amber Mitchell of Fairfield and Aubrey Niemi of Fairfield share the role of Louisa; Caleb Alexander of San Anselmo and Alec Higginbotham of Napa share the role of Kurt; Aubrey Niemi of Fairfield and Carley Fletcher of Vacaville share the role of Brigitta; Margaret “Bunny” Nash, Benicia and Meghan Crebbin-Coates, Lafayette, share the role of Marta; Victoria Lomeli of Vacaville and Sarah Mautner, Napa, share the role of Gretl. Patricia Harrington, Napa as Frau Schmidt; Travis Orth of Vallejo as Rolfe; Roni Christine Ure of Vacaville as Elsa; Donald Atwater of Vallejo as Max; Kenn Stevens of Vallejo as Herr Zeller and Matthew Gracy, Fairfield as Franz.
